So the debate...

Buy boxes/packs or just get the singles.

I've been debating this for the last few sets but I've considering not buying a single pack for Born of the Gods. I can get a full playset of common/uncommon right now on ebay for $28.99 w/ $10.50 shipping. After that it's just buying the rares I would need. 2 boxes (which is what i planned on buying) is going to be $200-$230.

I really think I'm just going to go the unsealed route.

I like my plan of just buying one box of a new set. You get the thrill of opening packs, and get a good feel for what rares are out there and what you might want more of. I'm also new to this but when Theros came out planeswalkers were like $40ea.. And Xenagos has now dropped to $10. I might try to take advantage of this too with what I get in my box. Wait a little then go back and get the cards I reay want 4 of.
Apple "it's not our shit phone. It's how you're holding it" Priceless. And yet we still line up like lemmings.

I'm thinking pre-release is 5 packs + 1 prefabed pack. Maybe I'll get a fatpack also just to feed the pack opening addiction.
