Goldeneye Source

If you played the N64 game way back in the day you might be pretty excited about this.

It's a HL2 mod and they just released a pretty big new update.

I might try checking it out this week.

I watched a couple of streamers play it. Seems like it might be fun in short bursts, but nothing replaces the original. Best part of it is that more than 4 can play at once--though it usually turns into an absolute clusterfuck.
I got nothin' clever to say.

I have seen so many people talk about this game over the years, and I've never played it. I never owned or even knew anyone that owned an N64. Maybe because of my age? I was an NES, Genesis, and SNES player/owner though. Lots of good stuff on those that I miss, that will Someday be on my Retro Emulation Cabinet.

i did the nintendo, sega, and snes as well. i remember my brother getting the n64 for his birthday. it was really the last vestiges of the cartridge console.

to me, goldeneye was my first serious fps that i played regularly, that and perfect dark. then of course once the xbox came out i moved on to halo but goldeneye was my first

N64 was Goldeneye and Super Smash Brothers... late teens to early twenties. The good ole days when people got together, drank, and played video games. :) Then MMOs happened.
