I'm heading to over Chado's around 1130 / noon. See ya all there. I have a birthday dinner for my dad later, so I'll be out by about 4pm.

Star Trek Online

Chad and I fired this up. It's pretty damn awesome. Has a normal MMO-type component and then tactical space combat as well. You create a toon and go Tactical (dps class), Science (healer / debuffer), Engineer (tank / healer). You do that, but you also become the captain of your own ship through an i...

Maybe I'm just an idiot, but the game interface is terrible. So, there are champions that are free, but there seems to be no way for me to select them and not pay for them? Not user friendly at all. The controls are terrible too.

Dumb.

Neverwinter

While waiting for LoL to patch last night, I got sidetracked playing this game. Pretty fun. Anyone else try it out? It's not nearly as complex in terms of combat as some other games, but still pretty cool.

So, when I originally loaded it, I added more sets than I really want to sort through. Playing w/ it last night, I couldn't find a way to remove sets so I could trim down to just what's in Standard.

Is there a way to do this?

I might take you up on that. Maybe hook up with you on Cockatrice / Mumble to discuss this weekend. Will let you know.

We can just get together and play whatever we have, that's fine. I will have my cube if we decide we want to draft at all. Otherwise we can just play what ya brung. Rich, you should install Cockatrice, would be great for you to get in some practice. Playing magic just on our weekends isn't going to...

I was only suggesting a tournament for the style of play and put some incentive in it. I just want to get games in. I know folks like drafts because they even the playing field a bit, but I think that's only true for those of you who are good already. It takes the edges away. If you suck, like I do,...

Sounds 3/8 it is. Chad said he could do at his place. I have a birthday dinner for my dad in the evening, so wouldn't mind getting started early (11am-12pm) if possible.

So, I wouldn't mind doing just a standard deck tournament. Personally, I feel like my biggest problem is that I never get to play with a deck long enough to really make it work and start feeling comfortable with it. I was working on this Red/Green deck and have made a few tweaks, but have really onl...
