Re: Quake Champions

This no longer requires its own launcher - you can use Steam. It is also free to download until June 20th (and if you download it, it is added to your library and yours from that point on). I've played some with a couple other guys and it is good fun. Brings back some good Quake memories. They added...

They over communicate so much that I stopped trying to dig through all the crap (that if I was 20, I'd probably be thrilled they are sharing) and just update the client and try to log in once every few months to see how the engine has updated. Hopefully the beta ...

Re: Pry Update & Console Suggestions

Some other games that come to mind - Mordheim, XCOM:The Enemy Unknown (it is a remake of the 90s game), and Civilization 6. I played a bunch on these, especially Mordheim, while I was unable to use my left hand/arm after surgery. They are turn based, so it helps old men like us :)

Re: Pry Update & Console Suggestions

Hey buddy, sorry to hear about this life challenge hitting you hard. I wish you well in the recovery. Although not nearly on the level of your pain, I had a major shoulder surgery a year ago and it has been a long and painful recovery. As for games, the only game that folks have really stuck with ov...

Hunt Showdown

Similar to Evolve in that it is co-op (I think only 2 man) monster hunting, but the monster is AI. Twist is that you can run into other teams that are monster hunting and PvP.

Re: Sea of Thieves

I watched some Twitch streams the last couple of days and this looks like it'll be a great co-op game, especially with some beer and fockers.

Life is Feudal MMO

Looks very sandboxy, like UO or Eve in a midevil setting, but no magic. Crafting/gathering, building your own town, shipping lines, etc is a big part of the game. Open beta started. http://lifeisfeudal.com/mmo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3-Gk9Nh7UqM One of you stateside people try it out! May be...

Sounds like the pay to win model and EA screwed this up too.

Re: Rustic Leaf Brewery Grand Opening Sept. 5th!

I did not. I ended up only having Friday afternoon/evening over on that side of the state, so once I picked up Mea from the airport, we hung out at Matt's place.
